Merriewood Children's Center
Child care is offered before and after school for children attending Burton Valley Elementary. Merriewood also offers camps during vacation times. Merriewood is open at 7:15 am and closes at 6:00pm.
After School Awesome
Provided by and held at the Lafayette Community Center and coordinated by Lafayette Parks & Recreation. Provides care from TK dismissal until 6:00pm.
Lamorinda School Bus
The Lamorinda School Bus Program (LSBP) is not your average school bus program! In 1994 the municipalities and school districts in Lamorinda collaborated together to establish a school bus program for the purpose of traffic mitigation. The majority of funds come from Measure J, a 1/2 cent sales tax in Contra Costa County distributed by the Contra Costa Transportation Authority. LSBP will operate nineteen buses serving nearly 1500 students in the Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda Union and Acalanes Union High School Districts.
