Burton Valley PTA is urging our community to vote YES on Measure H — and to help spread the word.

 

Measure H replaces the expiring Measure L and will provide critical, ongoing funding to support the programs and people that make our schools exceptional: excellent teachers, strong academic and arts programs, smaller class sizes, and safe, supportive campuses. It also includes a full exemption for seniors 65+.

Ballots arrive the week of May 4th, and many voters will make their decision early. What we do right now matters.

We’re working alongside families across Lafayette to help ensure our schools continue to thrive.

There are a few easy ways to get involved:

  • Endorse Measure H by adding your name at strongschoolsstronglafayette.com
  • Host a yard sign to show your support (we’ll drop it off!)
  • Volunteer for outreach — even one shift makes a meaningful impact 

Strong schools don’t happen by accident. They happen because this community shows up — for our students, our teachers, and each other.

Vigilant Parent Initiative

Join us for the Vigilant Parent Initiative, a parent education program presented by the Contra Costa County District Attorney’s Office and the Silicon Valley Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force. This interactive workshop helps parents understand the apps and online platforms children use, how online predators operate, warning signs to watch for, and tools to help keep kids safe online.
