Who We Are
The Burton Valley Elementary PTA is part of something much larger than just our school.
We're part of the National Parent Teacher Association (PTA), a non-profit organization that began over 120 years ago. The National PTA has over 4 million families, students, educators and community leaders working at the school, district, state and national levels to improve education, health and safety conditions for our kids.
The PTA nationwide network collectively influences decisions at the state and federal level when it comes to legislation that affects our kids. With over 4 million members nationwide, lawmakers have grown to respect and listen to the PTA. Our success is based largely on the numbers - together we make a lasting impact that benefits our kids.

What We Do
We Manage dozens of programs, services and events for our Bobcats.
EVENTS + SPECIAL PROGRAMS
BVE PTA is committed to providing an enriching educational and positive experience for all students. The PTA sponsors programs like Kindness Week, Teacher Appreciation, Science Fair, Fall Festival and Book Fair, to name a few.
If you've been to our campus, chances are you were pretty impressed with the way our school looks. We take pride in our grounds and create an environment conducive for learning and enjoyment. We continue to landscape, paint and upgrade playgrounds.
Burton Valley Elementary’s hot lunch is a PTA-lead program in partnership with Sodexo to provide healthy, fresh, affordable and delicious lunches for our Bobcats.
LPIE + PTA PARTNERSHIP
Lafayette Partners in Education (LPIE) is a community-based education foundation to enhance the educational opportunities for students in Lafayette’s six public schools. Burton Valley’s PTA coordinates with LPIE to distribute LPIE donations for library, art and science resources at our school.
