Yes Measure W

Great high schools need steady funding and Measure W delivers it for our students.

It's local, reliable support for our high schools that protects what we have and keeps our schools excellent no matter what happens in Sacramento.

Ballots drop next week - it’s all hands on deck to pass Measure W!

Where we need your help:

  • Voter outreach (our #1 need). Phone or door-to-door conversations with voters is the single biggest lever we have. Sign up here.  If everyone takes at least one shift, we will win in November.
  • Write note cards to your neighbors. Write postcards explaining why Measure W matters to you. We provide the cards, stamps, names, addresses, and talking points. Sign up here.
  • Put up a yard sign. Visibility matters, especially as ballots start arriving. We'll deliver and install signs October 4th.  Sign up here

Yes for our High Schools. Yes on W.

📣 Measure W — Our High Schools Need Us Now

Our local high schools are among the best in the state — but we haven't passed a new funding measure in 16 years. Costs have gone up. Local support hasn't. The result: $4.2 million in cuts over the past two years, with more on the way unless Measure W passes this November.

Join the PTA

If you haven't joined the PTA, we encourage you to do so! Support Burton Valley Elementary for just $15 per guardian (each guardian should have their own membership). Joining helps strengthen our voice and allows the PTA to enhance your child's education through special programs, campus improvements, and community partnerships. Our goal is 100% participation from BVE families, and we encourage all guardians to join.
