Lafayette Library Special Events: Stories of diversity, inclusion and courage.

The Lafayette Library and Learning Center hosts two very special storytimes that introduce us to two inspiring women: A 19th century African-American artist who didn’t let obstacles stop her from pursuing her dream of becoming an artist; and a US immigrant who working with the American military after WWII bravely spoke up for the rights of women in Japan and insisted they be included in Japan’s constitution.
